Its driver steers the front axle, just like on a truck, and the four-axle jeep — a short, gooseneck semitrailer — follows along. It has no brakes, turn signals, heat or AC, but does have a CB to communicate with the driver in the power unit ahead. It’s used to haul long pipe, from 105’ to 180’ feet long and up to 140,000lbs gross.
